About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Human Resource Manager (HRM). This role is crucial in shaping the workforce that will help drive the company’s success. The HRM will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring that they align with the company’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering a positive work environment, championing employee growth and retention, and maintaining compliance with labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy Development:
    Formulate and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy to meet the evolving needs of the company.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention:
    Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding. Develop retention programs to maintain a high-performing workforce.
  • Performance Management:
    Oversee the development and execution of performance management processes, including setting performance benchmarks, conducting appraisals, and implementing improvement plans for staff development.
  • Employee Relations:
    Act as a mediator to resolve complex employee relations issues and ensure proper communication channels are in place between management and staff.
  • Training & Development:
    Design and implement training programs that enhance employees’ skills and career development, ensuring the workforce remains competitive and skilled in current market trends.
  • Policy Development & Compliance:
    Develop and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Serve as a key advisor to the management team on HR legal matters and risks.
  • Compensation & Benefits Administration:
    Lead the development and implementation of competitive compensation structures and benefits packages. Oversee payroll processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Workforce Planning:
    Conduct workforce analysis and make recommendations to optimize workforce utilization and planning for future staffing needs.
  • Health & Safety:
    Promote and enforce a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
  • HR Reporting & Metrics:
    Maintain accurate employee records and prepare regular HR reports on key metrics such as employee turnover, engagement, and diversity.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (CHRP) or masters is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 -7years of experience as a senior HRM, preferably someone who has worked in a hospitality industry.

    o Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    o Proven leadership and decision-making abilities
    o Experience with HR software and HR metrics
    o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail o Conflict resolution and mediation skills
