Wig Stylist & Customer Experience Assistant

Job Summary
Our client, a fast-growing beauty brand dedicated to helping clients feel confident, stylish, and
effortlessly put together is looking for a Wig Stylist & Customer Experience Assistant. This role
involves playing a key role in delivering clean, polished wig styling services, supporting customer satisfaction, and maintaining the high presentation standards of the brand.
The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, passionate about wigs and beauty, has a strong eye for detail, enjoys working with clients, and thrives working in a content-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Wig Styling & Customization
- Style wigs for customers based on their preferences, desired look, occasion, and preferred
finish. - Customize wigs where necessary to improve fit, wearability, and overall appearance.
- Straighten, curl, lay, shape, and finish wigs to meet the brands’ styling standards.
- Ensure every styled wig is neat, clean, polished, and ready for customer handover, delivery, or
content use.
Wig Maintenance & Revamping
- Carry out wig maintenance services, including washing, conditioning, detangling, drying, and
styling. - Revamp and restore used wigs to improve softness, shape, movement, and overall appearance.
- Handle different wig textures, lengths, and constructions with proper care.
- Maintain proper use of hair care products, styling tools, and equipment to protect wig quality.
Content & Model Styling
- Prepare and style wigs for models, photoshoots, videos, and other company content.
- Support behind-the-scenes styling during content shoots and creative campaigns.
- Work closely with the team to ensure wig presentation is camera-ready and aligned with the
brand’s image. - Assist with creative ideas for styles, looks, and finishes that can support content and product
promotion.
Customer Experience
- Advise customers on wig care, styling, maintenance, and product use.
- Assist customers with questions and product recommendations in person and through the
company’s customer service channels. - Provide a friendly, patient, and professional customer experience at all times.
- Help customers feel confident and informed about how to maintain and care for their wigs.
Operations & General Support
- Help prepare, inspect, and neatly package customer orders when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional styling workspace.
- Properly clean, store, and organize styling tools, equipment, and hair products.
- Support the wider company team with day-to-day operational tasks when needed.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Cosmetology, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, or a related
field from an accredited institution. - Practical experience in wig styling, with proficiency across different wig textures and
constructions. - Knowledge of wig maintenance, revamping techniques, and proper hair care practices.
- Styling expertise ; ability to confidently straighten, curl, and create polished finished wig
styles. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing clean, professional results.
- Customer service skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the company’s products, styling standards, and customer service approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a growing team.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Comfortable working behind the scenes in a creative, content-driven environment and
engaging with models during shoots. - Candidate MUST be ready to avail themselves and participate in a full physical interview at the company, which will include a practical wig handling expertise assessment.

- Specialized Certification in Wig Technology, Hair Extensions, or Scalp Health from a
recognized training body. - Professional Training in Customer Experience Management or Service Excellence programs.
- Previous experience in a wig studio, beauty brand, or hair business.
