Job Summary:
Our client is seeking to recruit a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented social media Officer. The social media Officer will be responsible for creating compelling content across multiple formats (written, visual, and multimedia) and managing the clinic’s social media. The role aims to engage patients and the wider community, increase visibility of healthcare services, and drive growth through digital platforms.
Key Accountabilities:
Social Media Management
- Manage and maintain the clinic’s social media profiles across all their social media platforms.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to inform strategy and optimize engagement.
- Respond promptly and professionally to comments, questions, and direct messages, fostering trust and positive relationships with patients.
- Implement strategies to grow and strengthen the clinic’s online community.
- Network with influencers and community leaders to enhance brand credibility.
- Develop reports tracking engagement, reach, and effectiveness of initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with healthcare industry trends, digital tools, and best practices to refine strategies.
Content Creation
- Collaborate with the clinic’s management team to align content with healthcare goals and patient needs.
- Conduct research on digital health trends to generate optimized content.
- Develop engaging, informative, and creative content including reels, stories, and
interactive posts.
- Be available to cover clinic events, weekend activations, and special campaigns, capturing images and videos for content creation.
- Conceptualize and share a content bank of fresh ideas to boost engagement.
- Create and maintain a content schedule based on strategic plans.
- Work with the production team to deliver visually appealing, patient-centered content.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency with brand voice.
- Ensure compliance with copyright, privacy laws, and ethical standards.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for campaigns.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or similar role.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Experience with social media management tools (Agora Pulse, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) or other design/video editing tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Creative thinker with problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
