SALES ASSOCIATE
Salary: 30,000 KSh plus commissions
Location: Nairobi
Our client, Hypa, is seeking ambitious, energetic, and customer-focused Sales Associates to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about
sales, enjoy engaging with customers, and thrive in a target-driven environment.
As part of the recruitment process, applicants will be required to complete a video assessment
designed to evaluate communication, presentation, and sales skills.
Video Assessment Instructions
Using your phone, record yourself answering the following four questions:
- Record in a quiet, well-lit environment.
- Ensure your phone is stable and record in landscape mode.
- You may submit one continuous video or four separate clips.
- Please adhere to the specified time limits for each question.
Assessment Questions
1. Introduce Yourself (30 Seconds)
Tell us who you are and why you would like to work in sales at Hypa.
2. Sell Us Something (90 Seconds)
Imagine we are the owners of a busy restaurant in Nairobi. Choose any product you know well
and sell it to us. Demonstrate how you would introduce the product, build interest, and close the
sale.
3. Handle an Objection (60 Seconds)
A customer tells you, “Your price is too high; I can get it cheaper somewhere else.” Show us
How would you respond in a real sales conversation?
4. A Time You Fell Short (60 Seconds)
Tell us about a time you missed a target, lost a deal, or made a mistake at work. Explain what
happened and what you learned from the experience.
