Human Resource Manager
Location: Nairobi
Type: Full-Time
Budget: 120,000 – 150,000 Gross Salary
Our client, a dynamic and fast-paced retail FMCG company, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Human Resource Manager to lead HR functions and drive operational excellence. This role is instrumental in shaping HR strategies, ensuring compliance, and fostering a high-performance workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives in a fast- moving retail FMCG environment.
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices, managing policies and procedures effectively.
- Lead performance management initiatives, including appraisals, KPIs, and employee development programs.
- Drive employee engagement, resolve workplace conflicts, and promote a positive organizational culture.
- Streamline HR processes, including payroll administration, benefits management, and disciplinary actions.
- Provide strategic HR advisory to senior management on workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.
- Oversee training and development programs to upskill employees and enhance productivity.
- Support performance management processes, including KPIs, appraisals, and employee development initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement, resolve grievances, and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Innovate and implement HR systems, tools, and processes to optimize efficiency and support business operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- CHRP-K certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within a fast-paced retail FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment.
- Proficiency in HR systems and data-driven decision-making.
