Field Sales Representative
Location: Kenya
Salary: Ksh 30,000 + Commissions
Job Summary
Our client is looking for Field Sales Representatives to promote and sell mobile phones and accessories directly to customers. This role requires individuals who are proactive, persuasive, and capable of driving sales through direct engagement with potential buyers. The ideal candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively seek out and engage potential customers in assigned sales territories to promote and sell mobile phones and accessories.
- Conduct door-to-door visits, product demonstrations, and sales presentations to generate leads and close sales.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with customers to enhance brand loyalty and drive repeat business.
- Assess customer needs and recommend suitable products based on their preferences, budget, and usage requirements.
- Negotiate sales terms and finalize transactions while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed set sales targets through consistent outreach and effective sales techniques.
- Stay informed about new product releases, promotions, and market trends to provide customers with up-to-date information.
- Monitor and report on customer preferences, competitor activities, and market trends to help improve sales strategies.
- Maintain organized records of daily sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and post-sales support requests in a professional manner.
- Work closely with the sales and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability and delivery to customers.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, adhering to ethical sales practices and company policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in mobile phones, electronics, or similar
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence purchasing decisions.
- Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to different customer profiles.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset and ability to handle objections professionally.
- Basic knowledge of mobile phone features, specifications, and technology trends is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel within assigned sales regions to engage customers and expand the client base.
