Copywriter
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Department: Creative
Reporting To: Creative Director / Managing Director
Salary: Ksh. 55,000 – 65,000(Gross)

Role Purpose

Our client is seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to develop compelling content and
campaign messaging across multiple brands and platforms. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for creating engaging, audience-focused copy that drives brand awareness,
engagement, and conversions while maintaining consistency in brand voice and communication
objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative copy for social media campaigns, digital ads, websites, blogs, scripts,
  and marketing collateral.
• Interpret client briefs and translate them into compelling campaign concepts and
  messaging.
• Collaborate with Designers, Content Creators, and Account Managers to deliver
  integrated campaigns.
• Write engaging captions, taglines, video scripts, campaign concepts, and brand stories.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Conduct research to understand client industries, audiences, and market trends.
• Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and campaign ideation.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.

Required Experience

• Proven 2–3 years of experience as a Copywriter within a marketing, advertising, or
  digital agency is a MUST.
• Proven experience creating content for multiple brands and industries.
• Strong portfolio showcasing copywriting, campaign concepts, and content creation.
• Experience writing for digital, social media, and marketing campaigns.
• Agency experience is mandatory.
