Account Manager
Location: Nairobi
Salary: KES 80,000 – 100,000
Role Summary
Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Account Manager to lead day-to-day client communication and oversee project delivery across multiple accounts. You will act as the central link between clients and internal teams, ensuring briefs are translated into clear actions, timelines are met, and all deliverables meet high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients
- Build strong, long-term client relationships
- Prepare and share detailed contact reports after meetings
- Proactively manage expectations and escalate issues when necessary
- Translate client briefs into actionable internal work plans
- Manage multiple project timelines and ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate across creative, digital, and media teams
- Ensure adherence to internal workflows and approval processes
- Track budgets vs. scope and flag risks early.
- Ensure all work is properly documented and approved
- Support billing processes and revenue tracking
- Identify upsell and account growth opportunities
- Brief and guide Account Executives and Coordinators
- Review work outputs to maintain quality standards
- Maintain accurate project trackers and documentation
- Foster a collaborative team environment
- Share regular status updates with clients.
- Maintain organized account documentation
- Support campaign performance reporting
- Ensure proper project closure and documentation
Qualification & Requirements
- 2–4 years’ experience in account or project management (agency preferred)
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience managing cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Experience in digital marketing (social, paid media, SEO, web)
- Familiarity with tools like Asana, Monday, or Trello
- Understanding of campaign performance metrics
